On 26th September, S.R. Thorat Dairy welcomed 60 students and 3 teachers from the Second Year B.A.M.S. program of Siddhakala Ayurved College for an educational industrial visit. The visit was organized as part of their academic curriculum to provide practical exposure to dairy operations.
Students were given detailed insights into the milk collection process, including quality testing measures such as fat content, SNF levels, and purity checks conducted before processing. They also observed the milk purification stages, including filtration, pasteurization, and hygienic packaging.
The team at S.R. Thorat Dairy explained the importance of maintaining strict hygiene standards, food safety protocols, and quality control systems to ensure safe and nutritious milk reaches consumers.
The visit also highlighted the important role of the dairy industry in supporting local farmers and contributing to the agricultural economy. Students gained a deeper understanding of how organized dairy systems help maintain quality while ensuring sustainable growth and community development.
An interactive session allowed students to clarify their queries and understand the role of modern technology in dairy processing. The visit successfully bridged the gap between theoretical knowledge and real-world application.
S.R. Thorat Dairy remains committed to supporting educational initiatives and strengthening community connections through meaningful learning experiences.
