Job Summary

We are seeking an organized and proactive Store Assistant to support our inventory management and store operations. The ideal candidate will hold a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Commerce (B.Com/M.Com) and have 4 to 5 years of experience in a similar role. Proficiency in Tally and Excel is essential. The Store Assistant will be responsible for managing inventory, processing transactions, and ensuring smooth store operations.

key Responsibilities :

  • Assist in managing inventory levels, including receiving, stocking, and organizing products.
  • Conduct regular stock checks and reconcile physical inventory with system records.
  • Process purchase orders and maintain accurate records of incoming and outgoing stock.
  • Utilize Tally to manage inventory records, track transactions, and generate reports.
  • Use Excel to maintain and analyze inventory data, prepare reports, and support decision-making.
  • Coordinate with suppliers and vendors for order placements and follow-up on deliveries.
  • Ensure the store is well-organized, clean, and compliant with safety and hygiene standards.
  • Assist customers with their inquiries, provide product information, and resolve issues related to stock and transactions.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of all transactions and store activities.
  • Support store management in implementing and enforcing store policies and procedures.

Qualifications :-

  • Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Commerce (B.Com/M.Com) or a related field.
  • Experience: 4 to 5 years of experience in a store or inventory management role.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in Tally accounting software and advanced Excel skills.
  • Analytical Skills: Strong understanding of inventory management and store operations.
  • Communication Skills: Good communication skills and the ability to interact effectively with customers, suppliers, and team members.
  • Attention to Detail: Excellent organizational and time-management skills with attention to detail.
